Manual Test Execution

Quality Assurance Manual testing is done for functionality that isn’t proven, new systems or change, updates.  This type of testing can be administered via QA specific tools from Compuware and Mercury or by using simple desktop tools like the Microsoft Office System.

Opportunity

Sometimes when a system or application is not completely ready for use, you have to test it to find any defects that might hinder the roll out.  In order to test the functionality of a product CTS uses a process known as manual testing to ensure nothing was broken when a modification was made. CTS also works to ensure requirements are met in the new system and to test new features not covered by automated regression testing.

Approach

At CTS, our engineers develop test cases, prepare the data to be tested, and then evaluate the data that has been tested. To do this work and get good results the CTS engineers break the system into functional areas and then work with your team to prioritize the different areas, determining where to start testing.  Once testing begins, the cycle is completed and then the results are analyzed and presented to you.

CTS Value

When you do manual testing with the CTS team, you almost always see a greater ROI.  Manual testing on a product that is backed up by results that help you make an educated IT decision, you achieve a certain peace of mind.  This is CTS’s goal for every manual testing project.
