Shelton State Community College (Shelton State) is a dynamic community college dedicated to providing outstanding learning opportunities to its students and the community. Shelton State offers state-of-the-art educational opportunities in academic and technical career fields. It has two campuses located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Due to increasing demand for online education and access to information, Shelton State is looking to upgrade their existing Intranet platform.

Most organizations begin by implementing the out-of-the-box features like calendars, document management, lists and task management and then move to more advanced data driven solutions. Shelton State engaged CTS to provide scoping and implementation planning for a MOSS solution that will improve internal communication and collaboration, and provide personnel with consistent and easy access to institutional information. Shelton State plans to implement this MOSS solution in a phased manner with the first phase focusing on replacing their existing intranet, while subsequent phases will add additional capabilities and functionality.
