Working at CTS
TrainingCTS devotes time, money, and resources to equipping you with the skills you need in order to be successful. Employees are encouraged to attend both internal and external training courses as well as participate in industry-specific conferences and events. CTS also encourages you to achieve certifications that are relative to your career path. Not only do we pay for the certification exam, we pay for the resources to help you study and give you a bonus once you pass! Career AdvancementCTS provides continuous opportunities for professional development with a roadmap to help you navigate your career. You will have the opportunity to promote from Analyst to Consultant to Senior Consultant with clearly defined prerequisites along the way. You will then be able to choose whether a Project Management or an Architect path is right for you. After gaining experience in multiple Centers of Excellence (COE), you will join one or two depending on which career path you wish to take: Software Development, Quality Assurance, Business Intelligence, Portals & Collaboration, or Application Integration. Each COE promotes collaboration and best practices around a specific technical area in order to drive business results and subject matter comprehension.
Fun TeamEach month, CTS holds a "Fun Team" event, which all employees are encouraged to attend and unwind as a team. Past events include a crawfish boil, sailing trip, baseball game, family picnic, and our famous annual Geekathlon! CTS also provides you with free snacks, sodas, coffee, and tea to keep you going. For some friendly competition, you may want to challenge your co-workers to a game of ping pong, Xbox, or Wii in the break room. |
FeedbackWe are constantly improving ourselves at CTS, and we offer continuous feedback in a variety of ways. As an employee of CTS, you will receive feedback from your Technical Lead or Project Manager periodically throughout the year. In addition, you will have an Annual Planning Meeting to discuss your career goals, performance, and set a plan for the future. Feedback is critical to improvement and growth, and we want you to have all the tools necessary for success.
